The convience of a central vacuum system.
Ideal Central Vac is owned and operated by Jason R. Bushey. At age 12, he began installing central vacs with his father. In 2006 he became a Certified Central Vacuum installer with the Vacuum Dealer Trade Association. A small company with personalized service, ICV offers system installation, service, and support for any size home, apartment or commercial application.
Why central vac?
It's a health reason: University of California Davis school of medicine did the research and proved that a “Central Vacuum system vented to the outside increases indoor air quality.”1 Portable vacuums exhaust air into the same space you are cleaning, blowing dust and allergens into the air before they have a chance to be vacuumed. Central vacuums exhaust outside your living area, reducing airborne dust and allergens.
How powerful are they?
Very. Since Central vacs do not need to be portable they can run larger motors with bigger fans producing two to three times more suction than portables. They also hold a lot more dirt so you only need to empty the vacuum maybe a few times a year.
Are they expensive?
Not necessarily. On average the typical household will buy a new portable vacuum every 3 years, where a typical central vacuum system will run 10 years before needed any service or parts. Since a central vacuum is an installed system, value is added to your home whereas a portable vacuum can be a recurring expense.
I have an existing home, can I get one?
Yes. In fact more are installed in existing homes than new construction due to that fact there are more existing homes. Jason's years of experience are key to complete an non-invasive clean install.
